In Loving Memory of Janice Marie Pascetti

Janice Marie Pascetti, age 68, passed away on Sunday morning November 27, 2016 with her family on her side, in her daughter’s and son’s-in-law home in Albuquerque.

She was born to the late John and Marjorie Pascetti. She had one brother, Michael Carlini and sister-in-law Heather.

Janice is survived by her daughter Brenda Abeyta and husband Ricardo, and her son John Pascetti and wife Julia. She was a very proud grandma to Giovanni and Lilith Pascetti, Latia Marquez, Larry Jonathan Pascetti and their partners Avie Chavez and Leandra Gallegos. Janice also was blessed with two great-grandchildren Angelo Chavez and Jonathan Pascetti. She also was survived by many cousins and friends that cared deeply for her.

pascetti-mJanice was an extraordinary and a very strong woman that everyone loved and cherished from the minute they met her. Her gentle eyes, warm smile, and happy voice will be remembered always. She truly was an angel here on earth. Through all of her pain and suffering she never failed to ask you “how are you or are you ok?” She was a caring and loving person to all and never asked for anything and would not hesitate to give. Her healthcare providers all enjoyed seeing her bright smile and sense of fashion with her appointments.

She retired from the State of New Mexico Human Services. Although, she worked many, many other jobs while working with the State such as retail, factories, and cleaning houses. As a young woman she also worked in nursing. She loved putting her cowboy boots on and going out and dancing, shopping, cleaning house, collecting jewelry, motorcycle riding (has even experienced the bike rally in Sturgis), camping, spending time with her family, and painting her nails just to name a few wonderful memories we have of her. In her early years, she loved playing her accordion, in fact taught lessons in Leadville, Colorado and played at the ski lodge in Sugarite. Christmas was most definitely her favorite holiday and her grand babies were able to decorate a tree with her just a couple days before her passing. We can’t forget the love she had for her dogs and all animals big and small.

Janice was an active member of the Catholic Church.

Janice’s family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and well wishes during this time of grief and celebrating her life.
