Ramona “Rae” M. Rodriguez passed away on November 4, 2016 at the age of 94.
She was born on September 29, 1922 in Raton, New Mexico to Ricardo Martinez and Ambrosita Chavez.
Ramona is preceded in death by her father Ricardo and Mother Ambrosia, son Tommy and brother Louie, sisters Caroline, Rachel, Olibama, Eufracia.
Ramona is survived by sons, Richard and wife Rose Martinez of Mesa, Arizona and Louie Martinez and wife Sandra of El Prado, New Mexico. brothers Joe O. and wife June Martinez of Raton, New Mexico, four grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Mark Crotinger officiating. Inurnment will follow immediately after the funeral service at Fairview Cemetery in Raton, New Mexico.
Pot Luck-Covered Dish luncheon to follow at the First Baptist Church in Raton, New Mexico.

Ramona will be sadly missed, Im so thankful for the opportunity to have known Ramona, she had
the cutest giggle and loved to sing. She sang a gospel song called “One day at a time”she sounded
so amazing. I”ve had the pervlage of knowing Ramona since March 2016 and sure did enjoy the time
I had with her. She would always tell us girls at work that she loved us and we would tell her
we love her too. She liked that. I have good memories of her and will charish them for ever.
