Richard Orlando Rivera, 80, peacefully went to be with the lord on June 13, 2016.
Richard (Dickie) was born on December 17, 1935 to parents Benjamin and Emily (Herrera) Rivera in Trinidad, CO. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gambling, working in his yard, spending time with his kids, grandchildren, friends, and going for evening rides through town with his wife.
He is preceded in his death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Frances (Urioste) Rivera, sons; Richard B. Rivera Jr. (Carla) and Frank Rivera, daughter; Cynthia Rivera. His siblings are brothers: Raymond, Jimmie, Anthony Lee and the late Benny Jr. Rivera, sisters; Jane Martinez, Gerry Woolman, and the late Corrine Romero. Richard had one grandchild; Brittany Casias (Mike), 2 great grandchildren; Landen & Zaleah; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He touched many people’s lives, and will be greatly missed by all.
Rosary will be Wednesday June 15, 2016 at 7PM at the Comi Chapel.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Faith Christian Fellowship.
Interment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery. Family to receive family & friends at Faith Christian Fellowship, following services.
