Colfax County results are considered unofficial until canvassed by the Colfax county commission on June 10, 2016.
The only contested county race was the county clerk’s race where former county clerk Rayetta LeDoux Trujillo challenged appointed clerk Rebecca Hoy. Hoy had been Freda Baca’s deputy clerk and was appointed clerk by the Colfax County Commission in May 2015 after Baca’s passing. Trujillo unofficially won that race by just under 300 votes.
