Peggy Shell age 80 of Raton, NM passed away Saturday February 20, 2016 in Raton. She was born October 3, 1935 in Trinidad, CO. the daughter of Mildred McKensie.
Peggy was a home maker. Peggy was always there for her family and friends. She always put all of us ahead of herself. We will miss being able to give her a ring or stop and visit.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, and brother Edward Toner. Peggy is survived by two sons James R. Shell and wife Adeline and Fred Shell and wife Rebecca all of Raton. One sister Marlene Galasso and husband Richard of Aurora, CO. five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Peggy is also survived by special friend Brenda Perry, who was just like part of our family.
By request of the family cremation has taken place and a private inurnment will be at a later date.
So sorry to see this. Peggy and I were friends in High School and shared the birth of our first born children. RIP my friend.
