Rocky Mountain Physical Therapy

By Susan Ward, KRTN-

Pioneer Natural Resources presents KRTN’s Super Star of Business for October, Rocky Mountain Physical Therapy.

In observance of National Physical Therapy Month, Ted Kamp was our guest at KRTN on October 29, 2015.

Ted Kamp, DPT and his wife Traci Kamp, DPT are the owners of Rocky Mountain Physical Therapy. RMPT is a rehabilitation center located in Raton, NM. Their physical therapy team provides outpatient therapy services to patients of all ages and abilities.

Ted shared that it is “very rewarding to help patients” and see their results. He expressed his gratitude for the relationships that they have formed in the community. Ted stated, “It’s a real blessing to work with patients who are going to have the opportunity to work through issues and better themselves. We cry and rejoice with our patients.”

KRTN Sales Manager, Alan Kenny, told listeners that recently he “had the opportunity to use some of the finest equipment” at Rocky Mountain Physical Therapy and that already he has seen positive changes with mobility. Alan emphasized the professionalism and courtesy of the staff. Ted agreed that Rocky Mountain Physical Therapy has some of the “finest staff you can find – with skills to work with all different groups of people.”

Bill Donati, Owner and General Manager of KRTN, asked Ted Kamp about how patients get referred to Rocky Mountain Physical Therapy. Ted explained that services are covered by most insurance policies and are driven by a referral from a physician.

Ted mentioned that the salt water helps to lower the possibility of skin irritation. The pool offers an alternative for patients who have arthritis or other restrictions on higher-impact exercise.

Wellness programs are offered to the public for exercise and improved mobility for a nominal fee.

Ted Kamp invites anyone to call or come by Rocky Mountain Physical Therapy for a screening.
