Virgil R. Voegele age 95 of Raton, NM, passed away Monday September 28, 2015 in Pueblo, CO.
He was born April 20, 1920 in Ladora, IA to Clemens C. and Mary Zimmerman-Voegele. He is a Veteran of the United States Army, and was the Rainbow Bread distributor in this area for over twenty years.
Virgil is preceded in death by his parents, wife Bruna Voegele, son Robert Voegele, and sisters Lee Deltonto Keep and Verla Ayers.
He is survived by his daughter Sylvia Cimino and husband Frank of Raton, one son Bill Voegele and companion Tonya of Raton, one daughter-in-law Janice Voegele of Albuquerque, NM, two brothers-in-law Albert Yob and wife Nan of Niles, MI, and Louie Yob and wife Barbara of Denver, CO. Four grandchildren, Richard Cimino, Marla Giardino, Christine Montanez and Sandy Varro, and ten and a half great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday October 3, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home Chapel with Monty McGowen officiating, burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Raton.
