In Loving Memory of Susie D. Archuleta

Susie D. Archuleta, age 84, passed away peacefully at home in Weston, CO. on August 12, 2015.

She was born in Weston, CO, on August 31, 1930 to Theresa (Aragon) and Henry Duran.

She attended Primero School.

On October 15, 1950, Susie was united in marriage to Joseph N. Archuleta at the Lady of Esquepula Church in Weston, CO.

She was very artistic.  She enjoyed making crafts, crocheting, embroidery, and making Halloween costumes.

Susie loved to cook and bake.  She was known for her specialty birthday and wedding cakes.

She decorated for every holiday.

Susie loved spending time at the Primero School with her grandchildren and all children.

She never knew a stranger and helped anyone in need.

Her heart and house were open to all.

Susie’s love, generosity, and ever present smile will be missed.

Preceding her in death are parents Theresa and Henry Duran, grandson Jason Gomez, brother Gilbert Duran, sisters and brothers in law, Nettie Abeyta, Stella Roybal, Manuel (Virginia) Archuleta , Ed Griego ,nephews Eddie, Andy and Michael Griego, Arnold Roybal, Rocky Kaiser and niece Brenda Chavez.

Survivors are children, Joe (Audrey) Archuleta, Denver, Dena (Michael) Martinez, Minturn, CO, Francine (Vince) Garcia, Weston, CO, Rayme (Charles) Clampitt, Castle Rock, CO, Tony (Chrsitina) Archuleta, Weston, CO, sister Vera Griego, Weston, CO, Gloria Starkey, Weston, CO, Freida (David) Brodie, Northglenn, CO, Mary Lou(Marty) Garcia, Weston, CO, Martha Duran and Ben Vigil, Arvada, CO, sisters and brother in law, Barbara (Sonny) Gomez, Weston, CO, Theresa Duran, Weston, CO., 11 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews other relatives numerous friends including neighbor Debbie Velasquez.

Rosary will be Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 7PM at Holy Trinity Church.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at 10AM at Holy Trinity Church.
Inurnment will follow at the Weston, Cemetery.

Arrangements made under the direction of the Comi Funeral Home.
