In Loving Memory of Roy E Polage Sr.

Roy E Polage Sr. age 99, of Raton, NM, passed away Wednesday May 6, 2015 in Raton.

He was born February 7, 1916 in Alexandria, NE, the son of Edward and Elizabeth Daub-Polage. Roy married Helen March 11, 1938.

Roy was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in World War II. Roy and Helen moved to Raton in 1955. Roy was the manager of J.C.Penney Co. for thirty-six years. He and Helen owned and operated R and D Honda since 1975.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Raton and a fifty year member of the Raton Kiwanis Club with a perfect attendance record.

Roy is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Helen and grandson Greg Onstott.

He is survived by two daughters, Janis Powledge and husband Robert of Raton and Kathi Franz and husband Mark of Aurora, CO. Three sons, Blaine Polage of Raton, Gary Polage and wife Kathi of Denver, CO., and Roy Polage Jr. and wife Ann of Spring Branch, TX. He had four grandchildren, Kevin Powledge and wife Ashley of Albuquerque, Jolene Onstott of Raton, Chris Polage and wife Emily of Sacramento,Ca and Amy Morzos and husband Adam of Parker, Co. There are five great grandchildren Shelby Tafoya, Sabrina Polage, Lauren Polage , Phoebe Polage and Henry Morzos.

By request of the family cremation has taken place.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Roy Polage at R and D Honda in Raton on Saturday, June 27,2015 from 9:00 on.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home of Raton.
