In Loving Memory of Diana Lee Trancoso

Diana Lee Trancoso
Born June 10, 1974 and thru an unexpected heart condition the Lord called Diana home at the young age of 40 to become and Angel in Heaven May 3, 2015.

Diana passed away with her family surrounding her in love and prayers. She was a very loving and caring daughter, a beloved mother, sister, aunt and devoted friend to all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her sister Tanya Martinez, Uncle Ted Haigh and oldest cousin Teddy Haigh.

Diana is survived by her mother Sandra Haigh/DeNinno (Randy) and father Abel Martinez. She leaves behind her soul mate Rich Trancoso, with whom she shared a home and beautiful teenage daughter, Skye Angel Trancoso. Diana has an 11 year old daughter who lives in Mexico, Rosana Alexandra Sanchez. She is also survived by her younger sisters in Colorado, Mariya Martinez and Alisha (Lott) Passarelli, her older siblings in Minnesota, Donald, Shawn and Maria Martinez, her many
nephews, Garrett, Christopher, Darius, Zachary, James, Jason, Justin, Candyss, and Gregory.

She adored her Haigh, Martinez, Trujillo, Rodriguez, Trancoso and Passarelli relatives as one huge extension of her enormous heart and many more family and beloved friends who she loved so much.

Born in Pueblo, Colorado Diana spent her early childhood in Colorado and was raised in Washington, Oregon and California but the mountains is where she loved to be most. At only a few years old she loved to ride on her Dad’s Harley and when she was 5 she was so determined to have her own motorcycle she collected and saved cans to pay for her first motorcycle, a red Honda 50 that she named Rhonda, she taught her little sisters to ride on that very bike when they turned 5.

Diana loved hunting with her dad when very young and throughout her whole life she loved her outdoor adventures and going for motorcycle rides and spending time with her mother in Stonewall, whenever she could.

She was very close to her sisters and cousins in Trinidad. Diana was a well known and loved bartender in Trinidad and her 2nd family was everyone at the Northside Tavern. She was a true heart felt friend and kind to everyone, and never judged a person, instead she was so accepting and kind to people. She loved all animals, listening to music and dancing. One of her favorite holidays was Halloween.

Diana was a beautiful person inside and out and will be sadly missed every minute of every day. Her greatest loves were her daughters, Skye and Rosie. “She was the mother of a lifetime, she always had a bright beautiful smile that shined even thru a dark and gloomy day. My mom reconnected with me and my dad, which made us a family. OHANA means family, family means, no one gets left behind. I love you Mom” love Skye Trancoso.

Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 1PM at Fisher’s Peak Community Church with Pastor Bruce Knight officiating.

Private inurnment at a later date.
