In Loving Memory of Lucille Erma Zuniga

Lucille Erma Zuniga, age 88, passed away unexpectedly at the Trinidad Inn Nursing Home on March 26, 2015.

She was born in Gulnare, CO., the daughter of Refugio and Adrian Coca.

Lucy attended and graduated from Primero High School in 1947.

She was employed as a waitress at the Bar N I Guest Ranch, then for Tri Col Manufacturing for  several years.  Lucy worked at the Pinon Truck Stop for 20 years until her retirement.

On August 20, 1966, Lucy was united in marriage to Louis Zuniga in Raton, NM.

She enjoyed working outside, tending to her garden and flowers. She liked going to Cripple Creek with family and friends and taking her daily walk on the River Walk.  She also enjoyed going to the many garage sales with her sister Adeline where together, they liked to “collect treasures”.

She loved her family and adored her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are parents Refugio and Adrian Coca, brothers Dan Coca, Pete Coca, Eddie Coca and Joe Trujillo, sisters Adeline Coca, Eloisa Gerardo, and Rose Martinez.

She is survived by her children Dan (Lydia) Shea, Trinidad, Linda (Kenneth) Pfalmer, Trinidad, Lou Ann (John) Kelleher, Littleton, CO, Michael (Shirley) Duran, Weston, CO, sister Bessie Kishman, Primero, CO, brother Adrian Coca Jr. North Carolina, sisters in law, Jody Coca, Trinidad, Jessica Callinicos, Denver, Jenny Mares, Denver, grandchildren, Lisa(Gene) Torres, Dan (Elena) Shea, Yvette (Brad) Knox, Jayme(Stacey) Graham, Stacy Pfalmer, Chad Sandoval, Chelsee Sandoval, Lauryn Sandoval, Michael Duran, 9 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 3PM-6PM at the Comi Chapel.

Rosary will be Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 7PM Holy Trinity Church.

Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 10AM at Holy Trinity Church.

Interment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.

Active pallbearers are grandsons, Chad Sandoval, Danny Shea, great grandsons, Dylan LeBlanc, Ryan LeBlanc, and nephews Joe Coca and Anthony Lopez.
