Kevin A. Garcia age 23 of Raton passed away on November 22, 2014 at Miner’s Colfax Medical Center. He was born on December 10, 1990 in Raton to Anthony Garcia and Lorraine Garcia. Kevin was a member of the St. Patrick’s/ St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by his father: Anthony Garcia, brother: Justin Garcia, great grandparents: Joe L. and Cordelia Bernal; Jake and Florence Garcia; Frank and Rachel Garcia; Pedro and Amalia Candelaria Lopez; uncle: Joseph Garcia, aunt: Cordelia Montoya, cousins: Ernie Bernal and Johnny Ray Garcia and other relatives. Kevin is survived by his daughters: Ashlynn and Kaylynn Garcia of Raton and Natali Vanderpool of Albquerque; mother: Lorraine Garcia of Raton; brothers; Michael Garcia and Alec Valestad of Raton, maternal grandparents: Joe and Helen Garcia of Raton, and paternal grandparents: Fred and Martha Garcia also of Raton; Uncle Steve Garcia and wife Lorrie of Raton. There will be a visitation from 2 to 5pm on Monday December 1st in the chapel of the Alderette Pomeroy Funeral Home.
Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be held on Wednesday December 3rd at 9:30am at the St. Patrick’s/ St. Joseph’s Catholic Church recited by Larry Guara followed by the Solem Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00am with Father John Trambley as the celebrant. Rite of Committal and Interment to take place at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
