In Loving Memory of Najib Hadad

Najib Hadad, floor covering and tile professional, passed away at home in the presence of his children on November 7, 2014, after a lengthy illness.  He was born in Trinidad, Colorado on June 21, 1927. His wife, Georgette, predeceased him in 1989. He is survived by three adult children Michael, Debbie and Diane Hadad.  Other surviving family members include his sister Lucille, brothers Leo, Richard, David (Mary Ellen) and Victor (Louise), sister-in-law Evelyn Sawaya and many beloved nieces and nephews and their children.  He also enjoyed the gift of many loving and loyal friends. 

Najib (“Naj”) was blessed with a zest for life. From his youth he had a strong sense of curiosity about pretty much everything, a trait which served him well throughout his life.  His fascination with how things work enabled him to find creative solutions to problems and challenges. He loved working with his hands and savored projects that required both intellect and skill.  His true passion was installing carpet and ceramic tile. He enjoyed the challenges of the world of business and many of his customers, associates and employees became his life-long friends.  

He loved his church family at Holy Protection Parish in Denver. He shared his God-given gifts and love with many people.  His love for his wife and children, his extended family and his friends has generated a legacy of fond memories. 

Visitation will be Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 2PM-7PM t the Comi Chapel.

Funeral Services will be Friday, November 14, 2014, with Rosary at Noon at the Comi Chapel followed by the Funereal Mass at 1PM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Entombment will follow at the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Trinidad Catholic Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are   Joe Hadad, Fred Mauloff, Joe Shaya, Chuck Sawaya, David Barrack, Bob Arko, and Ben Chavez. Active pallbearers:  Ron Hadad, David Hadad Jr., John Hadad, Nick Hadad, James Sawaya, Paul Bodnar, Mike Bodnar.
