Lonnie J. Sanchez, was called unexpectedly to serve with the Lord on September 16, 2014. He was 43.
He was born on May 24, 1971 in Trinidad, CO., to Irene and George Sanchez.
Lonnie attended Hoehne High School graduating in 1989.
He was a kind and giving soul , who enjoyed writing poetry, woodworking and living free.
Preceding him in death is brother George Roger Sanchez, grandfather Onesimo Sanchez, and grandparents Julie and Henry Garcia.
He will be missed by his son Cody Sanchez, TX, parents Irene and George Sanchez, Hoehne, CO, sister Syndee (Mark) Camp, TX, grandmother Sadie Sanchez, Hoehne, CO., nephews, Corey (Ashly) Camp, TX., Mark (Elissa) Camp, Trinidad, CO, nieces, Brittany, Brianna, and Brooklynn Sanchez, all of TX., great nephew Caden and great niece Jaci, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.
Visitation will be Monday, from 4PM-7PM at the Comi Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 10AM at Holy Trinity Church.
Interment with Rite of Committal will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
Active pallbearers are Mark Camp, Corey Camp, Mark Camp Jr., John Vale, Louie Ramirez and Anthony Ramirez.
