By Marty Mayfield

KRTN Multi-Media

A 2-run homer by CJ Epperson was the only score the Raton Osos could muster against the Trinidad Triggers Wednesday evening as the Triggers put together a seventh and eighth inning rallies for a 12-2 win.

The game was 45 minutes late as the teams waited for substitute umpires to arrive. The second day this has happened as umpires were late for the game Sunday as well.

Kevin McGovern posted the win for the Triggers with a 15 strikeout performance. He only had two walks during the 8-inning game with one of the two hits against him came when CJ Epperson hit a 2-run homer in the fifth. In the seventh inning the Triggers started a six run rally on a double by K.C. Judge. The Triggers then posted a 4-run rally in the eighth to win the game.
