Osos Win One Lose One to Train Robbers

After the two games in Las Vegas were rained out this last week the Osos hosted the Las Vegas Train Robbers and pulled a win after tying the game at three in the third on Saturday evening.

It was Justin Pearson who had the hot bat for the Osos as he had a 2-run homer in the second for the tie and made it to the plate with hits in the fourth and fifth innings.

By the ninth inning the Osos had put up 11 runs to the Train Robbers.

The game on Sunday proved to be a more difficult one for the Osos as the Train Robbers posted six runs in the first inning. Brent Mendoza put a 2-run homer over the left field fence in the first inning to start the six run rally. The Osos put three runs up in the fourth and another run in the fifth before a long rain delay put a halt to the game.

After the rain delay both teams scored two runs in the eighth to keep the two point spread with the Train Robbers going on for the win.
