In Loving Memory of Milton Joseph Cruz, Jr.

 

U.S. VeteranMilton Joseph Cruz, Jr., age 31, died Wednesday, April 2, 2014 in Amarillo, Texas.

Rosary was recited at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 by Deacon P. Louis Montoya. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Fr. Joel Bugas, Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

Milton Joseph Cruz, Jr. was born on August 19, 1982 in Clayton, New Mexico to Milton Cruz, Sr. and Rita Lynn Chavez. He was raised in Clayton and graduated from Clayton High School in 2000. Milton moved to Espanola, New Mexico where he went to a tattoo school and served his apprenticeship. He joined the Army National Guard and served in Iraq for one year in 2006-2007. When he returned he moved to Denver, then Kansas and then to Amarillo. He traveled through many states pursuing his dreams. Milton owned Aristocrat Tattoo Studio in Amarillo, Texas and was planning on opening studios in St. Louis and Denver. Milton was preceded in death by his paternal Grandparents; Emma Gallegos Cruz and Archie Cruz.

MOTHER: Lynn Gallegos of Clayton, New Mexico.

FATHER: Milton Cruz, Sr. of Clayton, New Mexico.

2 SONS: Jonathan Cruz and Izaeya Cruz both of Fort Worth, Texas.

1 DAUGHTER: Mailynn Illana Cruz of Amarillo, Texas.

1 STEP-SON: Xavier Packer of Amarillo, Texas.

3 BROTHERS: Kenneth Cruz and Eric Gallegos both of Amarillo, Texas and Angelo Gallegos of Clayton, New Mexico.

1 HALF-SISTER: Diane Martinez Torres of Las Vegas, New Mexico.

FIANCÉ: Kim Jade Ngocole Packer of Amarillo, Texas.

MATERNAL GRANDMOTHER: Jean Chavez of Clayton, New Mexico.

MATERNAL GRANDFATHER: Gene Chavez of Clayton, New Mexico.
