In Loving Memory of Luanna Jayne Trujillo Hardest

Luanna Jayne Trujillo Hardesty, age 44, went on to meet our Lord on Friday, March 28, 2014 in Amarillo, Texas.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 3 by Deacon P. Louis Montoya and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 4, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Fr. Joel Bugas, Celebrant. Cremation will follow by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Luanna Jayne Trujillo Hardesty was born on November 21, 1969 in Boise City, Oklahoma to Lawrence Trujillo and Loretta (Rodriguez) Trujillo Mayhan. Luanna attended Clayton public schools until the eighth grade then moved to White Sands Missle Range where she graduated from Mayfield High School in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She continued her education and went on to earn a degree in business. She moved to Fulton, Missouri where she met and married Matt Hardesty, her soul mate. She often worked three jobs to get herself through school. Luanna attended the School of Nursing in Mexico, Missouri where she graduated with outstanding achievement in attendance and study. Luanna loved the outdoors and had a love for animals. She treated them with love, special care and tenderness. She enjoyed riding her bicycle, swiming and making crafts. She remained good friends with her first husband Kevin Adams, whom she nursed back to health while she was still in high school after he had suffered from a stroke. She helped him to learn to walk and talk again. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends and all of those who knew and loved her. Luanna was preceded in death by her husband; Matt Hardesty, father; Lawrence Trujillo, paternal grandparents; Andy and Rose Rodirguez, numerous aunts and uncles and a nephew; Marc Anthony Trujillo.

3 SONS: James Adams, Storm Hardesty and his wife Sapphire Nicholas Hardesty all of Fulton, Missouri.

1 GRANDDAUGHTER: Alice Hardesty of Fulton, Missouri.

MOTHER: Loretta Mayhan of Clayton, New Mexico.

STEP-FATHER: Alex Aguilar of Clayton, New Mexico.

4 SISTERS: Sheila Griffin and her husband Frank of Hampton, Georgia, Angel Contrerras and her husband Ronnie of Guymon, Oklahoma, Matilda Winkler of Elkhart, Kansas and Carla Hubbard of Liberal, Kansas.

3 BROTHERS: Lawrence William Trujillo, Jr. And his wife Manuelita of Clayton, New Mexico, Anthony Aguilar of Pasco, Washington and Lorenzo “Chicho” Trujillo and his wife Jill of Derby, Kansas.

And numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins.
